@ReaperGunner23 if you think yao is better than pau gasol then I dont have anything to say other than that you're wrong. yao has had 6 years of 20/10 stats, pau has 9 and counting. Of those 6 years, 3 were injury depleted, pau has had 2 years playing less than 65 games.
@bananas4life69 because when you've never even heard of basketball until your teens and only picked up a ball 1-2 years ago you're behind on any kid who has been watching nba all their life and been playing in in the schoolyard every day of school/after school. For every hakeem olajawon there is 100 hasheem thabeets.
I just read about this kid in ESPN mag Jan'12 edition. His story is awesome I hope he succeeds in his sport Hes so Humble and ready to learn and play its great to hear about a kid like this!
@ReaperGunner23 Yao was technically skilled, good footwork, great FT shooting but pau beats him on basketball IQ because its one thing you cant really teach. Its going to be the same with this kid, the more you work, the more you can improve the technical aspects of the game, but it doesnt guarantee you a place in the nba. Yao was a monster on working on technical ability, how else do you get your FT so good?
Considering he's only 14-15 i think he has plenty of time to develop his body and skills, don't forget he's still growing and with age he should naturally become quicker, stronger and develop better coordination. With the hard work he puts in with that program he could be something special.
if he makes the nba, it is only to add a fanbase in india

@xxxxsilver dude yao could do it all, FT, jump shots, post moves, and even fade aways.
IQ isnt going to help pau's game, yao has size and skillz

Nope, no way. The way he dribble, move and shoot is too slow....no way he can be like Yao, not even close.
