Nah I think its more to show that like, the older guy is chillin in his challenger and then a young foo comes up thinking hes the shit, the old guy laughs remembering all the fast times he had when his car was new and now theres gonna be a new generation making new memories

the old 426 hemi vs the new 370 hemi, im sorry to say this i own an srt8 my self, but the older hemis would beat the new one hands down.

@SOFSoldier1 Your Canadian/German/Mexican Challenger is probably making closer to 520HP at the crank. Numerous Challengers have posted over 450HP to the wheels on dynos. That said, I used to know a guy who had a '70 440 with exhaust, ignition, and carb upgrades and had slips with high 11's. 11.8 @136 was his best run.

@Gilbert440 maybe so..but my 4076 lb 392ci 2011 Hemi Challenger SRT-8 has 470 REAL horsepower, runs 12.4...and can smoke the balls off your 440 any time of the day.

@Whitewidow3111 t/a challengers did not have hemis. they were small block 340 cars, trans am series. r/t had the big blocks and hemis. compairing hemi and hemi just saying buddy

If your gonna compare the higher end version of the 08 at least use the 70 Challenger T/A not the R/T ....big difference
