Oil on the firing pin!!!!!!!
-
@PresenceCreative Have you done a video on clean and lube of a hand gun. I would like to see how much oil you use? Thanks for your response in advance!

Liked the video but I feel you oil your Sig WAY too much. It's your gun and you can do whatever you want but, too much oil is just as bad as not enough. Just a little advice from someone whose been carrying pistols for over 30 years, (Sigs,Berettas,Rugers,Smiths, Colts,Glocks,etc.). Nice video though.

Way too much oil! I bet it's nasty to clean! You should try a non petroleum product like Ballistol.

@PresenceCreative I have some Pete @thearmorychannel sent me. It works great on my 1911.

For some reason the Kimber Custom series are bad about getting surface rust and barrel rust. Not sure why that is.

@GuerillaGunfighter I found out that kimber does not use a stainless steel to make thier barrels! They also do a poor job at polishing the barrel. I will not buy another Kimber.

I am sorry man, I can tell you really care for your guns, but you use way too much oil. I have to agree with WhiskeyTango, and from all the people I have talked to at gun shops they say the majority of malfunctions they see and the most common reason guns get sent back to the factory is OVER lubrication.

@TheGordianknotter I have been told this before as well! Even so, I still have not had a jam or malfunction on my sig! No matter how much oil I seem to use on my kimber 1911 barrel it still seems to rust?
