In Texas neighbors help each other out. In this video-the pit bull in the blanket belongs to the young lady. The gentlemen doing the work are her neighbors. Everyone helps out.

why did they pour comet on it?

Pouring Comet on the dog repels other animals from being able to smell the corpse...thereby keeeping them from trying to dig up the grave for snacks.

No. The dog belongs to the youg lady that introduces the video. We just buried the dog for her.

I've buried 3 dogs myself in the past 25 years, and I really think they should have buried him at least a foot deeper. I'm not sure what kind of powder they poured on him, but I always poured hot cayenne pepper on top of the grave to prevent mice, skunks, and raccoons from messing with the site.

I think you guys are very respectful. I saw this other video and they froze their dog for 3 YEARS! Then when they buried him/her they were laughing their heads off...They just dug a little hole and stuffed him/her in there...It's so sad how cruel someone can be to a common household animal.
