One of the things that are so scary about this book is this power of that place. It's there and won't ever go away. There is nothing anyone can do to stop it. Like in the book when Louis think that in the future some other family may move to the house and the cycle will start again. I find this so damn creepy.

I don't know but I don't believe I could ever be in deep enough grief to face the way between the dead-fall and the upper cemetary, not to mention twice (there and back again.) It sounds way too scary even for a huge horror movie fan as myself. But then again, I don't have children.
