funny im a 29 year old samoan n thai male n just did this on myself . i call it the mohawk. but i get the beggining much closer and tighter. but i also learned from a black chick and have been practicing for over a year and actually , to me, have finally perfected it. the mohawk is my signature now. ialso part my middle braid more sharply than u do. and i start the outer one more at the pointy part near the top of the head making a much sharper sorry for the spelling. in my ebonics mode.
