Another model ship I have built, took 3 weeks to build and paint, on the stern of the ship there seems to be a rectangle hole which I have no clue why its there and that there was no other piece that would go there.

  • @todddoom Thanks for the information, mine didn't come with a electric motor as I got it 2 years ago.

  • @todddoom Looks like Lindberg dropped the electric motor. I am trying to find the motorized kit because it was a lot of fun. If anybody knows where to get one I wish they would let me know.

  • The rectangular whole is where the on/off switch goes. More than 20 years ago a built a Lindberg Hood. It came with an electric motor that hooks up to a single propeller and a cam that slowly turns the rudder back and forth. This way the "Hood" would do a figure 8 in the water. I put mine in a lake and shot at it with a bebe gun over and over. The bebes just bounced off. I see yours has the screw whole just behind the 2nd turret that you would use to unscrew to get to the D size battery it used
