Man! I get a bit of a lump in my throat watching that. I hope it's out soon.

Silver Spring was a special place to grow up in the 60's and early 70's - and of course as a kid everywhere you go is on foot, so everyplace you've passed is up close and personal. Occasionally I get back down there to see time lapses of it's revival, and I am so happy to see the county preserving it's landmarks.

Having grown up during the same period, I completely agree with you. The B&O station was a place I was always fascinated by as a kid and occasionally wandered into - along with the Georgia Avenue underpass, of course, which was a passageway between Shepherd Park, South Silver Spring and downtown SS.

I can't wait to see the actual show! Its great to be able to look back and watch the progress and improvement a group can give to a historic building, and at the same time this video shows how much the B&O affects the communities it ran through even now that it is no longer in existance.

Yes, well said. In fact, we still use the same basic rail lines that the B&O laid down in the 19th century, so the railroad does endure in more ways than one.

It's great to know you and Jeff are still finding some time for your musical dreams. I really enjoy this sound. You are both gifted musicians/creatives. Well done !

I knew Sharon Freedman in the early 90's, when she was lead singer of "The Situation." She has a tremendous voice and musical talent. I recognized it instantly when I watched this the other night. She's too big for Silver Spring, she should be on the national stage.
