I love this suite, I am learning the Bourree, it is so hard for me yet this makes it seem so easy...She performs it like a professional!

She is a very sweet and talented. I hope that she is a good and obedient girl, too. I wish her great successes, and never to abandon music!

This is great playing! As far as the shoulder thing goes, it looks to me like the piano bench is too short and she is instinctively raising her shoulders to compensate. I suspect that if you were to get a taller bench for her, this would fix the shoulder issue.

Love her smile before she played. Love her playing too!

Very talented girl. Does she have danish parents? Anna Larsen is a danish name.

Unbelieveable! I can't believe she's only 8!! I also play piano and have been practicing Bach French Suite No. 6 for a year and it's still not as polished as Anna's playing!! Keep playing and continue to share your talent with the world!!

Fabulous! I did my graduate studies at NEC and I know what a wonderful environment Anna is studying music in. I was especially impressed with her rendition of the winter wind etude. My daughter Chloe will also be learning the etude for her winter break.
About the shoulders, Chloe has the same problem. But I assume it has to do with her small stature and will pass as she grows older. I would assume the same for Anna as well. Anyways, kudos!

Thanks for your nice comments. Chloe is amazing, clearly a genius. I wish that I had your musical knowledge and background to help Anna like you can help Chloe. I'm glad Anna could inspire someone else to play the etude! A lot of teachers frown on these kinds of challenges, and I'll be excited to see Chloe play it. I can tell you that with small hands, measures 81 and 82 were the hardest, and we had to drop some octaves. Good luck! She'll be awesome!

Yet another hugely talented young Pianist on YouTube! Why is it that none of my Piano Students play like this (not even the 18- year old ones!) Feel free to check out some of my clips i.e. Raindrops and "A Little Rhythm".
