i know that ther are tow unlocking: contacting the company and the skin sensor

Hi sofia1999,

When I first received the Tria, I had to call them to register the unit. Also, everytime I use it, I have to use the skin sensor to unlock the Tria before it actually works. Hope this helps!

Right now, I believe you can purchase the Tria at your dermatologist office. I would call and check first if they have it since it's in limited release right now at more upscale locations.

@sonicheroesify It works on black people. All you have to do is get some carbon dye. My skin is a like a caramel color and my hair is black. I have a different laser hair remover and it burns my hair. It hurts though. It feels like a little sting and no, you won't get use to it because no one is use to their skin feeling like it's being stung constantly.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL DOES NOT WORK FOR DARK SKIN.............SO ITS NOT FOR THE (AVG) BLACK PERSON... the company that sales TRIA will not sale it to dark skin ppl with bark hair cuz it WILL NOT WORK and could BURN the skin
