These comments are terrible but WHY would you let your 9 year old daughter have her own youtube channel and be exposed to the craziness on here. Maybe I am just one of those crazy old fashion parents but I would never let my daughter have her own facebook let alone a youtube page! Whats wrong with keeping these kids innocence a bit longer!

@guestaccount26 Whats wrong with teaching our kids to express what they believe in and having a voice? Do we want to keep our kids in the dark in regards of how to communicate cos some red neck meat eaters are going to abuse them via the net?

Its a strong lesson for a 9 year old to learn how many meat eating rednecks are out there and that those that hurt animals have no issues about hurting humans regardless of their gender or age.

Makes our kids less naive and more street wise IMHO.

Nice work at grabbing a few comments off of a video and portraying all people who eat meat as heartless "filth". I really couldn't care less what anyone wants to eat/doesn't want to eat, it's their choice. Yes that little girl shouldn't have got those comments... But that girl shouldn't be posting videos in the first place if she's 9!!! I'm sure you think being vegan is great, I personally like eating meat.. Just as I won't try and guilt trip and alienate vegans, please don't try to guilt trip

I challenge all of you to raise cows on a ranch until a cow dies. What would you do? Bury it and grieve. Everyone has the right to choose what they want to eat. What you believe in is your thing. Not everyone is considerate of other peoples aspects.  Since there is an over pollution of deer where I live, people end up hitting them with their vehicles. I would rather know that an animal is being put to use then just rot on side of the road.

@durianriders i think if someone wants to not eat any animal products, that is fine and that is their choice. i only have a problem when those who choose to include meat in their diet are labeled as ruthless murderers and claiming that eating meat or animal products are the cause of health problems in humans. it's not, some of it is genetic predisposition, overall poor diet, and lack of exercise. by poor diet i do not mean meat, i mean eating too much fatty foods, excessive alcohol, etc.

PS: I know many vegans cannot agree that there is a humane way to 'kill' something, as the deed itself is morally unacceptable. Consider though that we live in the civilised world- animals are being plundered and mistreated just by our sheer existence, our participating in this system. Perhaps the best we can do at this point is either make an ideological stand (i.e. veganism or paleo - advocating health and sustainable practices), and stop oversimplifying food politics.
