We saw her on Broadway in Follies-wow-what a great performance--I shall never forget her,she did it all-singing,comedienne,actress.i see a lot of her work is being rereleased. What a great Jazz singer she was ....

  • Thank you for your comments. You were one of the fortunate fans to see Dorothy's talent in person. I never had that pleasure. I'm thankful for venues like YouTube where we can share her performances with others.

  • Her performance in "Follies" is one of the greatest things I've ever seen in over 40 years of theatergoing. When she sang "Losing My Mind," it shredded your heart.
