  • We are all brother and sisters on this earth. I'm very proud of my part Hawaiian ancestry and welcome all races and cultures to share in the music of our aina. That is what Aloha is all about. By the way, I loved the singing and hula dancing shown here. Excellent job.!!!!

  • you sound like those haoles that don't want Obama to be president.....one day we all will be judged and comments like yours, will be taken into account....God Bless You and change your attitude!

  • @PelesioK1...why judge the book by it's cover? I, myself is a Polynesian but my looks belie that for I look like an Asian or Oriental as you call it. You never know maybe she's got Hawai'ian blood flowing in her veins like myself. Music is to be shared with the whole world. If you've got a talent why not go for it. We all know the origination of the song, and a beautiful melody at that, but that doesn't mean we have to criticize anyone who loves to sing it too.

  • @PelesioK1 ... As a polynesian myself I once thought like you. And then I realized that music is universal and we are all one people under god. I'm in know way very religious, but my belief is that god is love, and love is for everyone..... She hasn't stolen anything but shared her beautiful talent. In the bigger picture we are here on this earth to love and have compassion. Like the songs says, "greed lust and vanity were once mine." Its so true! Think about it... One love!

  • Oh CRAP...as a Polynesian, I am so insulted..some things a best left for Polynesians to do. In this case...leave this song alone for Hawaiians to do. Not by Orientals. Haven't you non- Hawaians stole enough from them. No.. I am not Hawaiian, but as a polynesian I know how it feels for non- Poly's steal our culture and our birthrights at where I come from.

  • Mahalo nui loa for sharing this miracle with me today!

  • oh sweet seraphs on heav'n

  • Lovely!
