@taxpayinghorse Plant bloom depends on your location. In zone 6 I use full sun with great results. The warmer the climate the more shade they can take as they will have more time to bloom.

@taxpayinghorse They are the easiest plant in the world to start from a cutting. Just cut the older wood into 6" to 8" inch pieces and place them in a container with a few inches of water. Keep them indoors and the cutting will easily root. I have been growing them for years.

I DON'T AGREE WITH YOU. PLANTING THEM UNDER A TREE THEY DO NOT GET ANY BLOOMS. THEY ARE NOT EASY TO GROW OR START. THEY TAKE A WHILE TO ROOT FROM CUTTINGS. IN THE WINTER THEY DO NOT DO WELL IN A HOUSE WHEN THEY ARE IN A POT.
