At their 60th anniversary summit NATO members have appointed a new Secretary General, agreed continued support for the U.S. strategy in Afghanistan and announced the resumption of the Russia-NATO Councils work.

Yes, it was an anti-Soviet group, and for good reason. However, as times change so can organizational aims. Alliances can be harnessed for good. For instance, nothing worse could happen to the Afghans than for another Taliban-style government to enslave them again. The way these men treat women is horrible beyond belief. How can any human being endorse it?

1st,2nd,3rd world terms was used during the cold war. 1st world, the US and its allies. 2nd world Soviet and their allies including the stone-age country Cuba. and 3rd world is "Neutral" countries. so use that term efficiently or don't use it at all.

Nato is the modern day equivalent of the WW2 hitler/mussolini pact, and Russia should continue to treat them as that sort of threat. In fact, the rest of the world should keep that in mind when dealing with this israeloamerican front org.

so, Obama wants to encircle Russia by accepting Ukraine and Georgia into NATO. nothing changed with him, just a phraseology. Russia should stick to its policies in Caucasus, start finally doing something about Ukraine, and no reduction of nukes, at least, drastric one. not more than 20% of the existing potential. more than enough.
