He could perform a planche and handstand easily. Despite having quite large thighs watch?v=pj5W4Ss625I

Glad you enjoy your workout program but don't make shit up about Atlas. The guy trained with weights and used them his entire life. He also ran and did calisthenics. His "course" was just a way to make MILLIONS of dollars. It is THE worse written and organized exercise program in history. And no one can argue differently.

@Whammer79 As someone who personally uses isometrics and DT I can tell you that you're a moron. Charles Atlas did use weights in his career, but then stopped and only used DT. Isometrics and DT target and only target specific joint locations and someone who uses this gets larger, not necessarily stronger, than someone who trains with weights, you can tell by his physique changes that he did at one point use weights, then switched completely to DT. Stop trying to discredit a great man.

@Whammer79 Thanks, I will check out the interview you cited. Up to now, I've been of a mind that Charles Atlas was what he claimed to be - but though he did have genuine strength, perhaps all was not as it seemed. I'm always open to new evidence.

There is an audio interview that you can find online with Joe Rollino. In that interview he says that Atlas lifted weights. He says he had a trunk (storage trunk) full of dumbbells,. Google search "Joe Rollino Coney Island audio interview". It will bring up the link you need.

@Whammer79 I spent what time I had available looking up Joe Rollino, and found him to be a pretty impressive guy. In all I could look at, I could only find a second-hand allegation that Rolliono charged Atlas with relying on weights (no direct quotes). On the other hand, Atlas' family, his neighbors, and bodybuilding legend Bill Pearl (who knew him) all asserted that they only saw him train with bodyweight exercises.

Sorry, but Atlas used weights. Search for Joe Rollino. Youtube won't let me post a link. But search for Joe Rollino, coney island interviews.
He tells that Atlas had a trunk load of weights ( a trunk back then was a large storage box). Atlas was his neighbor.

@Whammer79 he didnt train with weights... work-outs without weights are really good andreally help, and can sometimes even be better

When Charles Atlas got big he kicked sand in my face.
Wanker79 you are a looser, you take an outtake from a newsreel from the 40's to try and discredit Atlas, who's already proven his worth to history, what have you ever done aside from being pathetic

This was a second take after he had already ripped the book in half. The first take where he rips the book can be found at /watch?v=oRO0yxOY1TE.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and just assume you simply didn't know this wasn't the only take.
