This must be the most basic form of spring reverb that can be made.
It is simply a mini-guitar amp circuit outputted to a speaker. A spring has been attached to the speaker with candle wax. At the other end of the spring is a piezo disk also attached with candle wax. The piezo disk is amplified through a small guitar amp.
I only used wax 'cos it sets solid so quickly, making experimentation faster. Use hot glue or PVA for a more permanent unit.
If you want to go even further into lo-fi heaven, shout in a grain silo or stick a biscuit tin on your head.

  • thats so simple lol, great :D, wonder what a speaker in a biscuit tin, no bath tub, no oven, reverb would sound like, hehe the possibilities.

  • This is pretty cool! Did you use the guts of that little StarSound amplifier to make this? I have one of those that I got with a cheap Strat copy from Lidl a few years ago and it never gets any use anymore
