For those of you who think David Pelzer is lying, all you have to do is look up his dss record in california and see he is telliing the truth. Child protective services doesnt just remove a child from their home and put them in foster care for nothing. How would you feel if you or someone you loved was going through hellish torment and nobody would believe you?If you turn away a child who is being abused then your no better than the abuser!!!!!!!

I read A child called it, The lost boy & Some of A man named Dave ....I read a child called it 2 summers ago, I was 12...& I just read it again this summer & I hope that biiitch is burning in hell right now, no child deserves to be treated that way.

Dave is a survivor he did what ever he had to do to stop his mother abusing him by any way god bless that he is om today your books dave make people tell how you were when you were little good bless that know you dont have to eat poop just keep your live going without your mom and dad but to know your brothers loved you know and then and the still do good bless you dave

Dave was so brave and amazing to get through all he did and not hate life after it, hes my inspiration and i look up to him for having an opened mind in life ,im sure hes an amazing father and husband. his books were so good and so were his brothers, his story made me think so differenly in life.

Try reporting severe child abuse in Australia,3 witnesses all willing to go to court,and it's like constantly banging your head against a brick wall,chi;d services don't want to know and police refuse to take statements,The Ombudsman is the same story,no one has to wonder why our precious children die at the hands of their parents.

i did read this and some other related and his author...i really love this book and a lot of tears came out of my eyes,i wanted to hug him at right moment...being a mother and rise my kids alone,i am very proud of you DAVID.....i love my kids my whole life
