  • hate to say it, a cai will only add maybe 4-6 hp..... Also, adding bigger, wider than stock wheels increases the cars weight despite the wheels being lighter than stock the bigger tires will be 3-5lbs each heavier.... countering the wheels weight....

And yes to the guy that said something earlier, Dinan charges WAY to much for these parts... Plus BMW NA will no longer Honor DINAN warranties....

  • @08turboSS The Dinan CAI on a stock car makes 5 hp & 6 lb-ft as the stock intake is good at stock boost. But when the boost is turned up the stock intake can't move enough air and that's why this intake makes 14 hp & 16 lb-ft with Stage 3 Performance Software. The wheels are much lighter than stock and the tires we recommend are much lighter too. The wider lightweight Dinan wheel and non-runflat tires will weigh less than stock. Runflats are heavy and removing them is the first mod we recommend.

  • Last shot is sped up.

  • @Russky78 None of the video was sped up. It was just going that fast. Thanks.

  • Dinan produces awesome products! After reading about Dinan products in Roundel (BMW CCA magazine) Car & Driver magazine, Road & Track magazine etc, I find the Dinan parts live up to the journalists high impressions and the Dinan products live up to their excellent reputatiuon for quality, craftsmanship and performance. I own a BMW X5, 330ci & 740iL which were wonderful cars in stock form, however they are all receiving performance upgrades (parts & software) from Dinan Engineering. Thanks!!!!

  • Thanks for the video. Looking forward to the C & D review.

  • save the money and just get the M3

  • @08turboSS I think Steve Dinan just cock slapped you, boo yah!

  • @08turboSS the stock wheels are ~30lb each, these are ~20each. but yea, it cost toooo much, its more expensive than bbs...

  • i have 265 tires in the back with VMRs on my 335i and they have been scraping and is eating my side walls pretty bad.. and this guy said he has 275 so im pretty confused on what i should do to fix this my tires were expensive.. any help????

  • This car has a LSD.

PeterJG does no thave a clue what he is talking about. I have had 2 BMWs with dinan(the one in the video is in my garage right now) and have been taking them to dealers for service. If the problem is due to Dinan & the dealer does not pay for the warranty work then the Dinan warranty covers it. Have not had to pay for any repairs on either car during the warranty period. Show me another tune that gives you almost 400 hp at the wheels and a warranty.

  • Dinan needs to add a lsd setup for this car to match the m3
