This video shows several of the test launches of our floating arm trebuchet. This trebuchet was designed by BYU-Idaho Mechanical Engineering students and built by Diversified Metal Products. The Idaho section of ASME and the Idaho National Lab also assisted in this project. The towers stand 11ft tall and we were able to throw a 3lb medicine ball 604 ft with 250 lbs of counterweight on the bar.
