I remember my first time seeing this on network television. It was at dinner and I couldn't believe what I was seeing!! Two well dressed women fight like cougars.

Of course, my interest in women's wrestling soon followed. But every now and then I would tune in to this show hoping to see another smackdown. Now that I'm older I see these fights were brutal. Alexis derserved every bit of that. Wow! Krystal can throw down.

Your lucky I would have loved to have experienced watching this originally but when this episode aired I was only a year old lol

And yes I always root for Krystle in the catfights as Alexis just deserves everything she has coming and more.

The lily pond fight was good, but in my opinion, it doesn't measure up to the studio catfight.

@gal80s I have to make a correction. I watched this episode again -- just now, and I was mistaken. Alexis does seem to lose her one earring during the fight. Linda did not however. OK, over and out now. Cheers!

Oh and one more thing. When Blake's car drives by the pond, he sees and hears the two women fighting but instead of asking his driver to STOP right on the spot and get out of the car and run toward the pond, he says "ALFRED BACK UP A BIT". Blake!!!

The fight scene was good. I remember it from when it first aired -- indeed, it was something

very "original" for network television worldwide! Everyone LOVED IT. Now watching it again, I was concerned about the possibility of the two women losing their beautiful earrings while fighting . . . something that would have happened in real life; but NOT ON TELEVISION. They both got out of the water with their earrings intact. Funny!

@mastmedia I was a little girl when I first saw this..it was on tv quite late & I remember falling asleep in my foster mommy's arms while it was on tv. It's nice to enjoy it now!

@TheJaking87 that's for sure!! I liked the studio cat fight more! Plus Blake was not there to intervene or tell Krystle off!! Blake was whiny in this scene!

From what I read Chris was supposed to be Steven's lover and they moved in together raising Danny but ABC was horrified and that was rejected they are only platonic friends is what the network wanted.

Alexis has worn that hat 3 times now, I imagine the wardrobe department thought it was time to retire it. So the writers had her wear it for the pond fight, to write it out of the series.
