Hey guys, thanks for checking ack with clevver movies, im your host Tatiana carrier and before you head out to the theatres, elts see what the critics are saying about the highly anticipated the girl with the dragon tattoo!
.
The Girl with the dragon tattoo is the first film in Columbia Pictures' three-picture adaptation of Stieg Larsson's literary blockbuster The Millennium Trilogy. Directed by David Fincher and starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, the film is based on the first novel in the trilogy, which altogether have sold 50 million copies in 46 countries and become a worldwide phenomenon...
.
Anne hornaday from the Washington post said, "Mara's bristling, unbridled performance gives the film the ballast it needs to pull off that curious, undeniably engrossing, balancing act."
.
James bErdanellii from reel views said, "This is what a movie adaptation should be: a film whose base narrative has its roots in the source material but whose soul can be identified through the images that unfold on screen."
.
And finally, Julian roman from movie web said, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is that rare hard-R rated studio film that expertly weaves story and character development into the lascivious subject matter."
.

  • @11gearhead13 there is a swedish version of the film, this is (obviously) the hollywood version... much better in my opinion.

  • i might

  • @11gearhead13 yah, in sweedish, a sad but true fact: americans hardly watch foreign films. we might shove our crap down the whole world's throat, but we americans sadly have a strong gag reflex.

  • The Swedish films are good. But I prefer Fincher's version.

  • @11gearhead13 well i believe the original author had been apart of the original sweetish production but this was another English adaptation with minor changes, but after watching both versions i think these actors proved to be much better at their roles especially lisbeth

  • loved it.

  • Fincher's take is far superior.

  • @11gearhead13 yeah, whats confusing

  • @11gearhead13 Oh, you mean that shitty made-for-tv movie with mediocre acting and poor direction? Am glad an actual GOOD filmmaker (David Fincher) is taking a shot at it.
