40 Nickel Season VI: Week 7 Miami at Raiders

Just like last week, this was another big play game. Raiders come up with an INT early but settle for a FG. After that it was the Culpepper to Chambers show. Raiders gave up some easy TDs, the Dolphins easily took them and lit the Raiders up for 20 pts in the 2nd qtr. A.Whitted had a KR for a TD for the 2nd week in a row to help keep us in the game. Raiders finally put some drives together in the 2nd half and turned things around, but Walter throwing INTs hurt us. Raiders pulled through and worked it down to the 10 yd line down by 6 under the 2 minute warning. Took a sack and worked it back to the 11 yd line. 4th down we went for it with 45 seconds left and Walter found Curry in the middle of the endzone for the go ahead score. Dolphins fought right back to setup a 51 yd kick with O.Mare, but the kick sailed right and the Raiders got away with a much needed win.

We improved to 4-3 with 3 games left in the season. Got some division games left and are hoping to get at least a wildcard spot.
