Patient is a case of Neurofibromatosis with kyphosis and scoliosis deformity of the upper thorasic spine resulting in total paralysis of both his legs. An 8 hour complex surgery which involved removal of an abnormal vertebrae, decompression of the spinal cord and correction of the deformity was carried out. At the time of his first follow up visit, patient had near total improvement of the strength in his legs and was walking without support.
