@MrDanielneg That's one deep comment you left me here man. Not only does it discuss the death of my character in the game, it inadvertedly mentions life and death as a whole. When does one die, how and who decides when it is time for someone to go? Could you see life as a video game? Does life follow similar rules as a game could have? Can life be compared to an entertainment medium in such a way? And the W. Does it stand for WE, the people? Maybe the ups and downs of life. Damn you're deep.

Hearing the sounds these bitches make when they die is the most satisfying feeling in the world.

I remember when all my comrades died and I was hiding trying to find the rocket ammo box and all I could hear was the loud thumping those striders made....that noise is now imprinted in my mind.

Half life 1, source, 2 ep 1.2.3 = good games
My favorite part of Half-Life is when you have the super gravity gun in Ep. 1 and you can disintegrate the strider's body parts in the dark energy fields. Revenge, tall-ass motherfucker!

@grumpyman2 That was indeed pretty damn cool, also actually being able to take them head on without the need for rocket launchers and idiots walking around soaking up all the damage for you.

I freakin' loved this part. It sucks trying to get all the NPCs to leave me alone, though. I feel bad when they die :(
Besides, they just slow Gordon down.

@copperdrops Especially in the center part of the stage, the small bunker, there's a chance your allies will block your path. It's pretty damn annoying. I only feel bad when those die who are meant to follow me around. It means I have less diversions when the enemy targets me.

that ringing noise right before the strinder shootes the blue beam is so horrifying, i would probably run for cover if i heard that IRL!
