8 dicembre 2009 spettacolare gara di discesa in bici nel quartiere di Castello, da Piazza Palazzo a Piazza Yenne. Arriva a Cagliari per la prima volta la spettacolare disciplina Urban Down Hill, gara di mountain bike in discesa, che da alcuni anni è diventata una delle attrazioni sportive e turistiche di centri storici come Lisbona, Rio de Janeiro e Bergamo,
