I read in the New York Times that Bea Arthur donated over 100,000 dollars to a homeless shelter for gay youth who were abandoned by their families. No one knew she was going to do it either, she just added it to her will without telling anyone! How incredible is that!!!! She put her money where her mouth is. Incredible integrity.
