This video was done to reach out to people who have Epilepsy and those who know not much about it.
To point out that Epilepsy does not make anyone less of a person, nor does it mean they can't live a life the same as anyone else's.. They just have certain restrictions they have to abide by - For their own safety.

Please take the time to educate people about Epilepsy - You could save lives by doing so. As the video says - Be a Hero. Don't run away from Epilepsy, but raise awareness in memory of those who have lost lives, with honour those who have lost loved ones and in respect to those who have Epilepsy today.

Thank you for watching.

but iim Sure yuu carnt die from it !

  • Hello. Sorry to hear about your epilepsy, however - you can die from it, still. (Of course, hopefully you wont!) If you watch my Death In Epilepsy video, it will tell you of the causes of death in epilepsy.

Goodluck with your condition and I hope it only gets better for you! :)

  • Some of the information that describes your video is incorrect. But I respect what you are doing.

  • I apologise... Which are the incorrect figures?

  • I have just been diagnosed with epilepsy, people at school are horrible they treat me like im disabled, and spread rumours about me when i have seizures.

Its really scary and i'm currently starting my gcse's and its stressful enough without my school being unfair towards me. My teachers are really understanding but i've never felt so alone in my life.

Really love your videos and this song.

    All my love.

    R xx

  • Thank you so much. It means a lot to know that there are those who suffer from Epilepsy out there, willing to stand up and speak against "The Ignorants". I have been under treatment for 7 years now. And, unusually enough, I sometimes appreciate it... why? Because it makes me stronger and more focused to go above and beyond the jokes and criticism. Epilepsy is not a "disability", but an affliction that you must cope with and therefore channel it into developing yourself into success. Thank you!

  • I have died twice because of my seizure like episodes. But I can tell you I decided a long time ago that I wouldn't let my seizures rule my life.

  • This is an awesome song. I have been suffering from absence seizures and seizure like episodes since I was 12.

  • We have just made this Facebook page for Epilepsy and P.N.E.S... facebook.com/epilepsy.and.pnes

  • Oh and whoever that 1 person is that hates it... U can go to hell.

  • I have Epilepsy. It sucks. I get made fun of in school. :(. It's my biggest problem. And everyone knows I have them. It's not something I want to live with. So god plz make them go away. My family agrees they want them gone as well. :(

  • @manchester26m sucks aye shame someone couldnt like knock us out when one starts to stop it that'll be gold, hang in people shame this currency prob the world supposably has atm was due to research of health not war..

  • Some people actually find it funny to make fun of people with this horrible health condition it can ruin your life if you let it but I laugh at the complete ignorance of people that find humor in hating on people with this condition it just shows complete stupidity

  • @puritygirl1 Yes it can. Status Epilipticus has a 30% mortality rate if it goes on for longer than 1 hour.

  • Throwing away your pills is not heroic, its downright stupid and irresponsible.

  • Thanks for making such a positive video about people with epilepsy. I was diagnosed when I was 15 and went through years of depression and hated what had happened, also terrible anxiety.

But now I am 24,engaged and starting a new life in college as an archaeologist.

Anything is possible. You can still lead an extraordinary life whilst having epilepsy.

Epilepsy doesn't define the person you are,it's just a part of you.
