iPhoto is a great starter application for those trying to enhance their photos basically. For those of you looking to take your photo editing to the next level (especially you new SLR owners), Apple's Aperture 3 is a powerful, inexpensive upgrade.

Nice video! This is a great introduction to aperture! You should take a look at lightroom! I seems to have more option than aperture. I also prefer the interface of lightroom when editing photos because you can hide all the icon that you don't need such as exporting so your attention is all on the photo itself.

Great video Cait, I use Aperture on a day to day basis and you have shown me 2 or 3 things I didn't know about. In regards to the audio in the video I'm just wondering weather you're setting the project in Final Cut Pro X to stereo instead of surround. Surround and YouTube don't go well together.

@blothian01 No, the video is Surround. I think it is a YouTube glitch because I am hearing it fine. I've also had other people check it out and they are hearing it fine as well. But thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video and learned a few things! Aperture is great, isn't it?
