The Twelve Tasks of Asterix was one of my favorite movies as a kid! It wasn't until I tried to find it as an adult that I realized it was a French film and not American :) Anyway, the English dub is amazing and should be seen by everyone.

maybe nowadays but I remember about 10 years ago, it was an even deal,

Comics wise I think it's a struggle between Asterix +Obelix and tin tin ^_^

in holland and belgium i'd say Suske & Wiske (Spike and Suzy) are to be considered too!

@Pacaveli83 Donald & Scrooge and co. are more popular than all the other comic heroes put together in at least Finland, Netherlands and Italy, so Asterix & Obelix ain't an all-European favorite ;P
