Well to be fair, Siri is in BETA and Apple already said it won't be able to open apps for now. Who knows if the iOS 5.1 will open Siri to 3rd party developers. But at least it can still open apple apps such as calendar, contacts, clock, safari, message, YouTube, weather, email, music, and maps. I think that's already good for a beta.
