i have this guitar,and i would't recomend it...Istarted playing 5 years ago, on a Hohner HW220,and then over the years bought a Dean key largo.the guitar got crushed in a car crash, i then bought this guitar and still regret it actually.. it looks beautiful but the playabillity and tone are not that great. i tried outting on different stiles of strings from elixir to d'addario 9-12 but i still prefer playing the half chee
per hohner...

@stuecke23 Hey, thx i will try other guitars in a shop, which cost nearly the same... In what way the sound changes, when you play it with other strings?

@guyke321 Yes for the price of 399 Euros i would definitaely recommed it. The guitar sounds great, plugged in and just without amplifier. The sound of the guitar is bright and rich. The guitar works best with Elixier strings (the most expenisive ones, one set cost about 20 Euros, near double the price of ,,normal" strings. The build in pick up is great, no negative sides. The only thing bad i could say about this guitar is that it has to less bass on the low e-string.

@stuecke23 I often heard of the problem with the bass on the low e-string... But it is ok for you? I want to buy this guitar and thats the only thing, that makes me think about...

@elveondain Altoug the low e got to less bass i would buy that guitar because i like guitars which sound bright and rich, and thats exactly how the guitar sounds like. Whith eilixier strings a couple times better. If you got the chance to try guitars at your dealer in that price range, you should definately do that. But if you just buy one guitar over the net, i think you should take this one
