I blame America for a lot of the damage. Its cities that DEVOUR the country, their need for cars that pollute nonstop, their suicidal stupidity that even now drags and slows efforts to fix the problem. Everybody is to blame but the US specially. China is a big polluter but it pollutes to make the junk America buys.

@illinoislibertarian i hear your concerns, but heavy industrial mono farming is destroying our planet and food supply, it has been proven in England that a farm of just 10 acres of what is called forest farms ie mixed farming with apple trees, peach, and poultry pigs and small heards of sheep can produce 200% more food than 100 acres of mono farming! Just look at Africa, in the 1960-70 they introduced heavy industrial farming, now there is huge famine, before they could feed themselves!

@zippyman818 Of course, these suits were designed before the age of Gore-Tex and high-tech fibers that you find in outdoors and athletic clothing now. In the future I see a skin-tight, color-changing, insulating memory fabric that will likely be stronger than Kevlar and remarkably slimming to boot! Let's not forget that the first iteration by Bill Gore of his famous fabric was NOT waterproof and fell apart upon contact with serious moisture! And today, there are 4-way "stretch" Gore-Tex blends!

The National Air & Space Museum on the Mall in DC has an exhibit on space suits.

Apparently there are nearly twenty layers and it IS one huge diaper!

Of course, this begs the question about the intensity and discomfort of the "diaper rash!"
