HiDef video of Chauvet Intimidator SCAN LED and Chauvet Insignia 2.0.
All units were on Sound to Light setting - i.e. no talent required other than to plug the cables in the right holes, and set the Dip switches correctly LOL. First one in chain was (by default) the master.
Quite possibly the video is too long for others to watch in its entirety (and this is the edited version LOL) but I got a tad engrossed as it is the first time I have had these units cabled together and I found it interesting to watch them doing their thang.
Please feel free to leave (constructive) advice/comments/suggestions or if you have any questions I'll do my best to answer them. Phil.
@Thamesvalleydiscos Hi it is tricky to compare them as the LED emits a crisper beam than the barrel scanners in this video (later are 250watt halogen). That said they keep up admirably. I would add that the red is quite dull compared to the other colours prodiced (I have read this is because of how White LEDs emit light - so I assume all white LED lights have this problem.
If you compare these with a 250w MSD fixture - these are no where near as bright (but a lot cheaper to run!).

@seanxvw Hi I don't program them for the videos on here. People are generally more interested in the lights than my (lack of) DMX programming skills :). Saying that, when I do program them I use a JESE DMX TRI dongle and either DMX Control or Freestyler software. I choose the JESE dongle because it is the effectively the same as the Enttec Pro and is also able to be upgraded to RDM should you have any fictures which support this.
