Short Film - Drugs

I do not pretend to own any of the songs used, they're used in a non-profit way, and besides, if you think about it, it's free advertising. Anyway, none of us could think of a good name, so we took the simple route: name it after the subject matter.

This was a school project, and was filmed on two separate days. Just ask if you want to know how anything was done/songs used, etc.

Just outta curiosity, what camera/equipment did you use for the tracking shots? I'm hoping to recreate the smooth pan but can't seem to, your reply would be appreciated.

@SmythC17 sorry this took me a bit to reply. it sounds simple, but I left the camera on my tripod and would carry around the tripod because its heaviness would create the smooth pan. you can try something like it, it's basically the same concept as a steadicam.

@Monkies97 we were bound by certain rules while making this, like not being able to explicitly show any drug use, so it's not weed or anything, it's just left unexplained.

@Monkies97 actually yes it is. weed replaces a type of chemical in your brain that tells you when you feel pleasure, when weed replaces that you become addicted to the drug because you need the weed in order to feel pleasure. that's why someone who's been on weed for a long time DOES go through withdrawals because their brain is telling them that they need the weed to feel pleasure, it takes a while for the chemical to replenish itself, during that time it's called withdrawal....................
