Muggle Quidditch is gaining popularity at TCU (Dec. 15 2010)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One made 125 million dollars in its first weekend. Quidditch, an imaginary sport, played by wizards in the books and movies is gaining popularity in the muggle, or non-magical world.
So like is TCU a high school or a university? I any believe all you "adults" saying that this is "gay" "embarrassing" etc. I don't go to TCU, but I'm sticking up for this. You all need to get off your high horses and stop caring about what other people think. If you don't like it, don't be a dick about it, just ignore it.

NCAA recognize Quidditch? Not that I'd be for or against it, but I'd keep or form your own Quidditch College governing body. The NCAA regulates things that shouldn't be all that regulated while also not policing what should be no brainers - at least imo.
Do you really want the NCAA coming down on one of your teams because some player played with an illegal broom or uniform? I think bringing the NCAA into this would lose it's entertainment value.

@skydaplaya6 I've never played Quidditch myself, and I know it's very popular. As I am myself an athlete and an inventor of a new sport people sometimes put down what they don't understand, don't like or they think they're being funny. But think of the people making fun of you in terms of sports. Ignore their comments and/or feed of them to make yourself better. :)

Listen. For those of you who do not know the game or the people who play it, please don't make fun of it. This group has done nothing to offend you or TCU's name. They are students (just like those from teams across the country and the world) who enjoy doing this and harm no one by it. So please, don't make fun of something that you don't understand. That's pretty immature. If you wanna talk about it, feel free to reply to me.
