were you using a pick?

@WestChesterMike If you cant tell, then it doesnt matter, or does it? :) LOL

@Guitarwizard I can tell, I was just affirming what I thought to be true. The tone quality is a little thin. But sometimes people place their thumb against their index finger to make it seem like they are using a pick. There is a fuller tonal quality when a string is pushed properly that you can't get from a horizontal pluck of a finger nail or the stroke of a pick. Just my opinion & I could be wrong.

@WestChesterMike You're right, i agree. Which is partially why i switched to conventional technique.
Have you seen my video of Jucal?

@Guitarwizard Outstanding! Much fuller and flows better. If that's you first attempt at Gerardo Nuñez Jucal then you are fricken brilliant. What a technician he is. I'd like to see him play with a little more pop. Again just my opinion. I am a Grisha Goryachev fan. I think he has the talent to be the next great player. I may be a little unobjective because he is my teacher. After listening to you play, I am jealous and will have to spend even more time playing!

@WestChesterMike WOW! Grisha is your teacher? I LOVE Grisha's playing, and i talk to him over
at ForoFlamenco Forum sometimes. He is always so gracious with his time and knowledge. He is one
of my heroes, right up there with the best of all time. Its really nice talking with you Mike. I will have to add you as a friend. Please do keep in touch with me. I would love to hear more about your lessons and your playing. Cheers!
