  • Good stuff. I like the dried tortellini idea. I have purchased the fresh stuff from the refrigerated isle, but will get some of that as well. Does the pesto come in a variant that does not require refrigeration?

  • Yes, pesto doesn't need refrigeration because it is packed in oil.

  • THANK YOU

  • VERY helpful video, got some ideas flowing. Thanks!!

  • Man you look and sound very familiar to me.

  • Thanks for posting! I've never seen dry hummus! Will keep my open!

  • @chaddvanzanten Good advice, thank you.

  • Cool vid! Banana peels take much longer than 3 days to biodegrade, though. At least a month, maybe much longer depending on the environment. Not a big deal, but in sensitive areas it can make a difference. If you're going to toss peels or cores, best thing to do is to pulverize and tear them apart before you chuck them.

  • For the soups, try finding bear creek soups, normally find them in 4 or 8 serving pouches but you can cut those down in baggies. Easily found in the store with more variety online.

  • Good tips thanx!!!!

  • Thanks for the tips! Great ideas!

  • Fat intake is very important in the bush, and Butter and Olive oil are the best. For trail friendly butter, look for clarifies butter or 'Ghee'. It is butter w/o the milk solids, needs no refrigeration and will keep forever. I mostly Canoe and love to fish, and nothing taste better than pan fried Pike, Trout or Walleye in a bit of Clarified Butter. Don't forget spices either. Take a look at Ms. Dash seasoning blends. No salt and they are great.
