  • As far as I'm concerned, something is insulting if someone is insulted by it, regardless of what the person's intentions are. However, my friends who make jokes about ethnic minorities say there is no problem because there is no person of that ethnicity present, and to them i argue that if you joke about something too much, you may find yourself believing it.

  • Race and gender is just an excuse distraction to keep us busy fro what to come. The real people in power sabotage at ever turn, taking ever chance to take all rights away ever chance they get. Pretty we will have none if we do nothing. Those who really have power don't actually care about you! They possible, they control the the food the supply, they control environment, they all the resources, they control you!

  • @dtrez09 Wow. You ppl are a bunch of whining children. Who the hell walks around all day trying not to offend the world? I mean, it's not like it's alright to be an asshole, but if you dont like what somebody thinks/says about something, deal with it, dont whine like a baby about it.

  • @dtrez09 you are a complete idiot if you believe jokes that are intended for comedy as fact. I would question a person's mental ability if that was the case.

  • zOMG! once again, I find one of your videos that just makes me want to go and start beating ppl in the head telling them this isnt the 1950's time to step into THIS century and start acting like people instead of degenerates... If I was a girl I would ask you to marry me --- but.... you already have a partner so I shall refrain from that fantasy :P

  • Classic postmodernism at it's best!

  • @u12lg7 Oh I understand that and when it comes to certain aspects of these basic human faults I roll my eyes and roll with the punches--things that everyone erroneously call racism, I kinda shrug it off, however there are times when lines are crossed and that is when you put up your dukes...its not a constant battle and you have to chose wisely but we can't lay down and turn the other cheek all the time otherwise perceptions never change ...

  • @sepiasiren I understand what you mean. I am not saying that what happens to minorities is right or that it is just. However, I am saying that everyone stereotypes. Even those of us who are in minority groups stereotype others in minority groups. This is not always in a negative fashion but it happens. It's how our brains work. I'm gay and heterosexual men constantly stereotype me in a negative fashion. Do I let it bother me? No. I look at the positive aspects of my life and I get on with it.

  • @psychohippygoth you do make a valid point but for many minorities, some of these misconceptions can have far reaching consequences--as I mentioned in a prior post I have been harassed by racist cops for dating white men on the assumption I was a prostitute because of the prejudiced idea that white men only want black chicks for one thing--good thing I happen to carry legal ID wherever I go...

  • @u12lg7 it is but I canot help by be btohered by the fact that I was thrice pulle dover by cops for being in the car with a white man on the ASSUMPTION that I must have been a prostitute--3 TIMES--I am a college educated lady my friend and do not tend to dress as a street walker whilst out and about...can't a white man simply be involved with a black woman for more than just sex...?

  • @RowansAHare they feel they are flipping off political correctness, when it reality they are just becoming obnoxious bullies. One doesn't have to be politically correct to have good manners.

  • You rawk and this is so true--I love the new fangled spin on this, like anyone who objects to bigotry or racism is somehow, themselves, bigoted and racist. I am like--so if you call me the N word and I do not like it I am a racist and a bigot--BUT if this same someone hates something a gay, black, woman or whatever group they love to insult, does something THEY object to, they have right to react to it? How does that work again?
