@Jospehporta True, but it is still ours. Just like the Cheetah Fighters & the nuclear bombs the Israeli's helped us build.
-
@GraffitiBombing247 The G-5 gun was actually designed by a Canadian ballistics genius - Gerard Bull. The same guy who was building Saddam's super gun, before he was murdered. Without his genius the South Africans would never be where they are now.

i will take one
-
That rate of fire is used to fire shells at different trajectories, so that they all land together at once. An entire salvo that lays waste to a large area at once from a single gun.
-
The G6 also fires shells at close to 50 kms. No howitzer does that...
-
@GraffitiBombing247 well, reserve the praise for God for sending Dr Gerald Bull, an unparallel genius in artillery systems
-
this sounds like a homeshopping advert.
where can i order that? will i get a second one for free?
-
Like a G6

it looks cool

@superkinze actually, no where does it show 5 rounds in 5 seconds... but it is close... I have seen this done for myself.... it's truly the best of the best.... and trust me it's the best
During the battle, 62 of the 72 deployed T-55 tanks were either destroyed or captured, while the remaining 10 were found abandoned afterwards. The South Africans had two of their tanks put out of action, but were able to repair both. The technological superiority of their GV6 and GV5 howitzers also contributed greatly to the South African's victory

holy shit!!! again the South Africans embarrass the world with their leading artillery systems!!! - I knew about the G6-52 but i never knew about the new rate of fire - i cant beleive i just saw like 5x 155mm shells being fired in around 5 seconds - the old system did only 3 rds per minute!!!!! DENEL ROCKS!!!!
