@LoneStar1776 I have applied more thought to the problem than you can ever realise and researched every detail before making my decision on what to believe. I don't believe that matter has desires, I believe that LIFE has desires and that life can come from matter. In my belief you do not require a soul to live, and hence do not require a soul to have free will.

@LoneStar1776 Haha you have fun with that, I am not going to "go be with Satan" because I do not believe in him. All I'm going to do is move on, enjoy my life and not harm anyone because those are the only codes I keep to, and you don't need a God for that.

He was a liar and a murderer from the beginning. You think these conversations are meaningless but they carry more meaning than you can imagine. @CurlyDemon The fact that you do not understand how a soul is required for free will shows what little thought you have applied to the problem. I suggest you do a lot more research before we continue this discussion.Atheism rejects God and thus the spiritual plane of existence. This includes rejecting your own soul. Without a soul, you are physical matter.Physical matter, even matter in your brain, does not DESIRE anything. It is just matter and thus it has no FREE WILL or desire.

@LoneStar1776 I don't know where you're getting your facts from but Hitler made several comments regarding doing his actions in the name of Jesus. And I don't base my template of Christians on that one man. Some atheists have done some bad things and some christians have done some bad things, both sides have done good things also. When you talk about these subjects it is not fair to take into account their faith as it has nothing really to do with it.

@LoneStar1776 Hell yes! I'd rather team up with Satan that with God, God's the biggest dick I've ever heard of. He spreads hatred, condones slavery and sends you to eternal damnation if you don't love him enough. I respect Satan for trying to bring that bastard down. (By the way this would be in the hypothetical situation that I was shown undeniable proof of God and Satan's existence).

@LoneStar1776 why does not believing in a soul mean you don't believe in free will..? I believe that Atheists have more free will than religious people who follow the every command of their God no matter what.. I can do whatever I want without having to fear burning in hell. (and I just know you're going to bring up murder or rape or something here but I don't actually WANT to do those things.. Atheists do have morals beyond just what some book tells us).

@CurlyDemon Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot and Mao were all atheists and they murdered their fellow man. When the new atheist leaders come for you, I will remember how you treated those Christians who would have tried to save you. God may have mercy on your soul, but I sure as hell won't. I wonder if Noah cried when the rains came. As for me, I do not think I will shed a tear for those like you who openly reject your own soul and our creator.

lol nice strawmen arguments. You ought to find out what evolution and big bang theory actually say, before you try to argue against it. How can you argue against something when you don't know what it is you're arguing against?
