Michael is currently starring in the Off-Broadway hit, Altar Boyz!, playing the role of Matthew. Michael previously performed this role for productions at Cincinnati's Playhouse in the Park and St. Louis Rep. He's best known nationally as a Hollywood finalist from the second season (2002) of American Idol.

In New York City, Michael's been involved with the premiere reading of High School Musical 2 as Zeke, Lincoln Center Director's Lab in Only Children as Alistair Richards, Bound for Broadway opposite Jerry Dixon and Donna Vivino and Things To Ruin: The Songs of Joe Iconis at Joes Pub.

Michael has performed widely in Regional Theatre. He was seen in Edges as Man 1 at Music Theatre of Connecticut, High School Musical as Jack Scott at North Shore Music Theatre, The Sixties Project at Goodspeed as Colonel Steele and directed by Richard Maltby, Jr., Jonathan in tick, tick BOOM! and Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar.

Michael earned a Bachelor's in Music, Vocal Performance (Music Theatre) at New York University.
