(HD) Spring Break 2011: CSX O721-15 Lehigh Spur ft. CROSSING MALFUNCTION

The whole Florida four pack will be represented by the end of Spring Break which runs throughout the week.

Train O721 which would normally be a SB yelvington move, today, was a FRKX empty deadhead. Through NW 107 AV at 8:31 PM, the train, driven by 4574 and 7512 had to work through a crossing with a gate that simply FAILED to drop! The empty FRKX hoppers (70) were set out and the train picked up 4 NDYX coal ash hoppers, which haven't been seen for 7 months from Cemex. Through Galloway at 12:13 AM EB.

@kenjr29mfl Thanks, Ken. As a matter of fact the 4574 was honking in the first clip, unfouled. the 7512 honked at the end because the engines were going the opposite direction.

@kenjr29mfl Yes that's what I mean. In the second clip the horn on 7512 sounds good until he blows it right at the crossing. On the approach to the crossing it sounded good.

@kenjr29mfl OH! I guess that's partially due to the fact that he did a series of short blasts and then the foul sound showed in a long blast.

That last spot looks like where Doug shot a video that included a dude that went right up to the tracks as the train went by.
