cool computer!!

yes it can but it's is not bootable due to the bios does not detect it.

so I see Windows detects the RAID chips in Device Manager but does it detect the SATA drives or the RAID array (0,1,5 etc) so they can be used from Windows

Hi sunnykfc,
How was the performance of the NAS running winxp ?
cariocap 11 months ago
@cariocap No problem, not slow. This NAS is a computer, which you can change CPU and add more ram. But of course I ran XP just for demonstration and don't use it for daily use. Now my NAS is running the Qnap firmware.

Hello,
I searched for articles, how to install windows on an USB Hard Disk, i found some but it wont work... Can you help me?

this is the hardest part of all, u also need to splitstream the Intel chipset driver into the CD.

Ok, i think this was the problem. I have made an install disk, so i can install to USB devices, but on the nas i become an error...
I tink i buy an another flash drive for the nas. The build in is only 128 MB, so i cant install windows or a linux on it. :)
