57310 + 390010 on the first ever Pendolino to be dragged down the North Wales Coast 29th September 2004.

  • why don't they just use voyagers?

  • They do now, but only after the Voyagers had their kitchen modified to do full breakfasts, something only a Pendo could do hence the drags

  • why is the class 57 pulling the class 390 i dont understand?

  • The Pendolino is an electric train but the line between Crewe and Holyhead isnt not electrified so the Class 57 pulls it to & from Holyhead.
