@TheProgNerd Well said sir. I'll only add that if the musical currents were running in a different direction in the late 70's early 80's this album would have received a completely different reception upon release.

The best song on one of the best heavy prog albums ever. "Drama" is much better than the critics would lead you to believe.

I'm not running I'm flying (to the light).

@Roostalee That's surprising that Squire would say that. I would have thought that he would say that this was Yes' most under-rated album. I agree that this is a very tight album and it sounds like they put a lot of work into rehearsing, arranging and recording these tracks. In addition, the album is very cohesive.

trevor's talento start to fly on this album, then he is the famous producer of pop music as we know, good job,and i don't know he plays fret bass here,great...........

Drama was my second Yes album after an initial 2 weeks of 90125 hitting my ears. I'm so glad that I developed a love and attachment to both misunderstood gems, especially Drama.
"Run Through The Light" is pure Classic Yes. Questioning, spiritual lyrics, chunky bass, celestial keyboards, and Steve Howe's crystalline pedal steel on that magical, perfect outro...

@divinedgar you're right- pulled out my albums & it says Trevor Horn:Lead Vocals, bass on "Run Through The Light" (supporting Lyrics)...
Well, after near 19 yrs of CD's and mp3 players, It's tough to recall what all went on in most of the Greatest Classic/Prog/Alt/Rock groups ('til I pull out old VHS tapes I've collected. But all videos show Horn at the mic & Squire playin' bass. Excellent album, though it took me awhile to get used to the fact Jon & Rick left. I was 19 then. thx divinedgar

@eltorocal actually, trevor horn plays fretless bass on this one.
i'm pretty sure it is the only yes song that squire didn't play bass on.
chris, however, is playing piano on this track.

The members of Yes don't often speak well of this album. I've heard Chris Squire say it was rushed and not their best. But I've always felt this was one of their tightest studio albums, just before they went to the "new" sound of 90125.
