@spartan0581 Tbh, your interpretation of the song is completely off base. The song is about the life of a depressed child/ teenand how he sees the world. One can draw this conclusion not only from the lyrics but it was more than likely a very personal piece of music when the band "Tears for Fears" original wrote it. We can assume that someone in this band was very depressed as a child and his ideas at that time are portrayed in the song such as the message of feeling left out, and ignored.
