My First Stirling

I suppose the name says it all.
I'm not thrilled with the video quality, must have changed a setting on the camera by accident.
Can't really give proper credit for the design, I got ideas from many web sites and books, and picked bits & pieces that I liked and threw out the rest.
My biggest inspiration was this Instructables project:

What is different from the one on instructables?

I used actual ball bearings instead of wire running in pvc pipe.

I used a straight shaft and made cranks instead of putting bends in a pc of wire.

All this reduced friction to the point that mine runs on a cup of hot water where the other one needs a flame to run.

Okay, thanks. Im thinking about making all three of the engines you've made. One question...Did you use your first engine for your steam engine. I'm thinking about doing that. Thanks again.

Yes, I built the air powered motor first then added the boiler later.

The steam is neat but very dangerous, I don't reccomend it.

Air power is much safer.
