of course the oil companies want to support legislation against further exploration for oil and the use of coal...why produce 10 barrels of oil and only get as much money out of it as you can for 1 barrel if you stifle competition...the supporters of agw legislation are tools of big oil despite their constant accusations that it is the skeptics that are the tools
