I'm an attractions Cast Member who works at this ride. Guests usually know to pull down on their lap bars as soon as they step in, but every once in a while we have some dolts who just sit there & expect to ride like that. :P

I'm a Cast Member who works at this ride. My co-worker/friend Jordan is not being lazy. It's a safety policy. We've been doing that for a few years now, and I honestly don't know why we decided to start. I personally don't see anything wrong with it since guests will usually pull down their lap bars as soon as they step in anyway. If they don't push up on them or don't understand after we ask, we check it for them. Simple as that.
